Bio

Cameron's always been a storyteller and constant trouble since his youth, his mother demanding that he pinch himself at 5 years old in response to a question of whether he was real or a dream. He pinches himself every day for the qualia, but continues to ask the question.

Excercise books from school filled with short stories and incomplete novels in science fiction, fantasy, romance, crime fiction, general fiction and even non-fiction. He learnt he knew nothing about life experiences vital for an author and needed some tragedy.

Failing to complete high school, he had a brief career as a life model which, along with night fill, put him through university and graduated with an Arts degree in Cognitive Science, the scientific study of the mind specialising in artificial intelligence and robotics (why wouldn't you?).

He participated in medieval reenactment and various martial arts, learnt swordwork and history, built arms and armour and fought on horseback to add to his fantasy settings. He built a strong aerospace career in defence and aerospace, learnt how to build spacecraft and rockets, participated in hypersonic and robotic flight trials, and worked in mining with an interest in astromining - all to add to his cyberpunk and science fiction settings.

Tangling with 'The Alchemist' one day - cover to cover from breakfast to dinner - he realised it had all been very clear and started to flex his writer muscles again. In 2011, after a failed marriage and divorce, Cameron felt he had enough life experiences to get on with the writing, which is what he is doing by publishing short stories, engaging with the writer communities, and writing, writing, writing.
